On November 11, 2009 two members of The Middle Tennessee Magic Club, Blaine Little and Robert Killen, spent Veteran's Day honoring those who have served our county by entertaining the residence and patients at the Tennessee Veterans' Administration Hospital and Retirement Complex in Murfreesboro.

They started with a visit to the psychiatric ward, a locked down facility. In the Day Room Blaine and Robert performed for about 30 people. The response was overwhelming! One of the staff members mentioned that the patients don’t get much in the way of "live" entertainment. So the show was really appreciated.

Then Blaine & Robert went to the retirement center, mostly going from room to room. They performed a lot of close-up magic for folks who couldn’t easily get out of bed. There they met a man who served in World War II and was just a week away from his 93rd birthday.

Finally they went over to the hospital itself where Blaine & Robert put on about a half hour show in one of their day rooms.

We salute Blaine Little, who come up with the idea, and Robert Killen for their willingness to give back to those those gave so much to our country and for our freedom. Below are some photos of that memorable and magical visit.
